Dated 5 December, 1941 (and with a red rubber stamp for 6 Dec.), on HLM's 1524 Hollins Street, Baltimore, letterhead. 5.5 x 8 inches. Evidently written to a bookstore. "Gentlemen: Will you please put me down for a copy of 'A Treasury of Democracy,' to be published by Coward-McCann on January 19th, and also for one of 'Good Inheritance,' to be published by the same publishers on February 23rd?
