Fleming, Upper Canada Imprints 124. Issued (along with other biographies by Robert Southey, John Galt, and the Rev. George Bush) bound up in a hardcover binding titled "Family Library". This was the first imitation in Upper Canada (Ontario) of the American and British "Family Library" series of small books on various subjects sold at a low price which were quite popular at the time. The four books chosen for the Canadian edition were numbers 6,7,9, and 10 in Murray's Family Library series in Britain.
