THE CASE OF MR. CRUMP. With a Preface by Thomas Mann.
Edition: First of this edition
Edward W. Titus, 1931. First Paris trade edition, and the first edition with the Thomas Mann preface (three pages). Squarish octavo, softcover. [18], (436), [8, ads], [2, blank] pp. Grey paper covers printed in black, fore and bottom page edges untrimmed. Corner creases to last few leaves; cheap French paper tanned, as always; front joint darkened from repair; else a good, sound copy. First published by Titus in 1926 in a limited edition of 500 copies, this trade edition was issued to combat an American piracy. A psychological novel about his failed marriage, highly praised by Freud.
