A LOST LADY (Canadian issue)
Edition: First Canadian issue
Toronto: Macmillan, 1923. Green cloth gilt, green & mauve decorated endpapers, red top edge. Ink name at front, else fine. Jacket has tiny corner chips, bit darkened & lightly rubbed spine, chips to spine tips (no loss of lettering), nice otherwise. The Canadian edition was made from the US first issue sheets (with a cancel title leaf), as it has "of" instead of "af" on line 19 of page 174. There were 20 k copies of the US edition, and probably a 10th (or fewer) of that number for Canada. An uncommon edition very scarce in any sort of jacket.
