"Here we are again - not much to tell only that in N.A. ¼ of 1954 has gone - which means that once more with much travail and strangulation of the spirit, the years (sic) income tax returns are coming due: and one wonders what is left worth struggling for in order to provide funds to the Govt. to misspend." He talks about turning down job offers, meeting with a leader of the political opposition, and South African affairs. On the reverse side he copies out two "Gaelic Poems" (in English) sent him by an unnamed Gaelic friend in South Africa.; Signed by Author
