Front board has a small tan spot at fore edge and a small nipple on the inside with has lightly indented the first few leaves; near fine otherwise, no owner names. Thin dust jacket, with Dali-esque illustration by A.L. Tucker, has chips at spine tips, small tears to panels, soiling to rear panel, horizontal tear to rear flap; just good. A collection of poetry from this Melbourne-born author, his first commercially published book and second book overall. Alister Nasmyth Kershaw (b. 1921) was Richard Aldington's private secretary 1947-51 and wrote the Aldington bibliography (1950). Scarce book. Some of the poems are about WWII combat aviation
