Ownership in a small hand at top margin of title page "J.W. Maxwell Lyte, New Coll. 1845". (Maxwell Lyte played cricket). Inner hinges cracked; short splits at top and bottom of front joint neatly repaired, slight joint rubbing; spine a bit age-darkened, with tiny chips to the label; nice copy otherwise, still sound, if tender, in the binding, contents fresh and clean.
