Price-clipped dust jacket has rubbing, nicks, very small chips to spine. sticker shadow at lower spine, rubbing & tanning to flap folds; small chips and tears to outer corners; small tape stain on front flap; in all, good, but still respectable in appearance. A novel of the California Gold Rush of 1849, it won a Pulitzer Prize and was the basis for a short lived TV series. Uncommon in first printing.
