This fermale Native American author's first novel. In the first issue jacket with "Some Comments on Leslie Silko" at the top of the rear flap. Tiny pencil ownership initials on front free endpaper of a noted Canadian Indian novelist. Distingushed American dealer Ken Lopez has said that when he first read this book he thought it a great book and it is what caused him to become a noted specialist in native American literature.
