Preface to Second Edition - "In the present Edition the reduction to one volume has necessitated the omission of the Appendices, together with the Chapter on the History of Kamschatka. The two hand-coloured plates of birds have also been omitted, but with these exceptions both the text and woodcuts remain the same as in the First Edition." Book just a little leaned; spine has nicks, very small chip, and rubbing at ends, as well as some light damp spotting; cracked front inner hinge neatly reparied; some foxing early and late; yellowing to page edges; else a VG clean, tight and unworn copy, no owner names.
