A sketch history of Chief Archibald McNab and of the township he founded and named for himself in 1824, McNab Township, Renfrew County, Ontario. He was the 13th and last chieftain of the Clan McNab. The Laird, a dissolute Jacobite on the run from creditors, envisioned a feudal settlement of Higland Scots under his sole command. The currently named McNab/Braeside Township is near Ottawa.
