Book a bit leaned; wear to spine ends and a bit to outer corners; damp stain to lower inner corner of front cover not showing much and showing faintly to about page 50 of text; two dents to spine just above the imprint; yellowing to page edges; in all, about a VG copy otherwise, still decent in appearance, text clean and unworn, hinges not cracked. For once the Canadian edition was not a piracy. Issued under contract with Twain, made from US plates, and in a binding similar to that of the US edition, with the cover title shortened to A YANKEE IN KING ARTHUR'S COURT.
