The first book is the second edition (first was in 1856). The second book is the first edition. Both were originally issued in yellow wrappers (without half-titles, as here), or in four volumes 1855-57 as MISCELLANIES: Prose and Verse. Light rubbing to spine, bit of scuffing to outer corners, partial crack to front inner hinge, else a VG clean, tight and unworn copy.
