EDMUND DULAC'S PICTURE BOOK
Edition: First Edition
London: Hodder & Stoughton, no date, 1920. Quarto, light blue decorated cloth gilt. pp (4), (135) + 18 tipped in colour plates with captioned tissue guards. Slight wear to ends of lightly darkened spine; light darkening to inner rear cover; 1920 ink gift inscription and another later inscription on front free endpaper; small light red ink splash on verso of tissue guard of plate at p. 102 not affecting the plate; else a VG clean and tight copy. Contains The Nightingale, Sinbad the Sailor, Cinderella, and 10 others. This book is not the same as the much more common EDMUND DULAC'S PICTURE BOOK FOR THE FRENCH RED CROSS (1915, 20 plates). I believe the present book was published around 1920. It's odd that the edition is not listed in expected places (COPAC, BL catalogue, Harvard, Yale). Note: 1.5 kg parcel, extra postage may be required.
