Superb political cartoons from the Hamilton Spectator, the front cover advertises his winning of a Reuben Award in 1970 - the equivalent of an Oscar for movie people - Blaine MacDonald being the first Canadian to win one Also includes his excellent pencil drawings of famous people, mostly politicians, some sketches of sport and travel, and letters of appreciaton. "Blaine was born in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia, and later relocated to Hamilton, Ontario. His work was published in The Hamilton Spectator. He received the National Cartoonist Society Editorial Cartoon Award for 1969.
