THE GEORGIAD: a satirical fantasy in verse
Edition: First printing
London: Boriswood, 1931. Tall octavo, blue cloth. Light yellowing to endpapers and page edges, covers a little bowed, else fine. Buff dust jacket has splits, nicks, and shallow chips along top edge (a bit too tall for the book); one inch split to top of front spine fold extending horizontally across spine; some neat internal repairs; overall light tanning; rear panel has some foxing, with browing to top two inches; in all, good, but still respectable in appearance, flap price intact, in a plastic protector. A savage attack on Bloomsbury ("intellectuals without intellect"), which Campbell grew to loathe for what he regarded as its sexual inversion, atheism, snobbishness, pessimism, and anti-patriotism. Parsons A6a, this binding. Note: lighter parcel, any default postage rate may be reduced.
