Thirteen short narratives originally published in the Saturday Evening Post, Collier's, Liberty & other magazines. Jacket art and lettering is by Edgard Cirlin (1913-73), Montreal-born commercial artist who studied at Cooper Union under noted jacket artist George Salter. Cirlin was said to be just about the best calligrapher around.
