The set is an interior of room 319. Richard Todd, Herbert Lom, Warren Stevens, Peter Arne, Paul Carpenter, and Maggie McGrath were on call, along with five stand-ins. Special effects were a bullet effect for killing Finch. A few small brown spots on front cover, rear cover has soft creases, nicks, small tear; else a fine copy. >>>A crime novel set in Montreal, INTENT TO KILL was Moore's seventh novel overall, the sixth of his seven potboiler crime novels, and the first of the two under the "Michael Bryan" pseudonym. It was also the first of a number of his novels to be the basis of a film (Intent to Kill, 1958), starring Richard Todd, Betsy Drake, Herbert Lom, Warren Stevens, Alexander Knox, and Jackie Collins, filmed in Montreal, and directed by Jack Cardiff. It was released in London on 16 July, 1958, and in New York on 31 March, 1959. The film was in black & white, on 35 mm film, and ran for 88 minutes. A RARE BRIAN MOORE ARTIFACT.
