New York: GCMI, 1958. pp , stapled in illustrated card covers. Illustrated. Front cover has a tape stain from a printed slip now laid in stating "This is not a Ball Brothers publication". Laid in is a folded 1961 typed letter on Ball Brothers Company (Muncie, Indiana) letterhead addressed to Mr. L.W. Ball of Drummondville, Quebec. The company no longer makes glass top seal rubbers, lids, or bands. The War Production Board required all fruit jar manufacturers to fit their jars with glass top seal caps because they wanted to save metal and rubber. After the war when metal lids came back, consumers no longer wanted the glass tops. With the original mailing envelope to L.W. Ball. Note: lighter parcel, any default postage rate may be reduced.
