THE LITTLE BLUE LIGHT. A Play in Three Acts.
Edition: First UK printing
London: Gollancz, 1951. Olive cloth, spine lettered in black. Fine copy. Pale grey jacket is tanned on the spine; shallow chips to head of spine; creased nicks to top edge of front panel; mainly fine otherwise. Uncommon. Set in the near future, it is an attack on forces he felt were destroying miodern civilization - the Catholic Church, organized crime, the corps, fanatical political parties - plus ça change. The powers that be use a little blue light to control their opponents. The play was not successful, closing in New York after only eight performances. Note: lighter parcel, any default shipping price may be reduced.
