Edition of 200 copies signed by the author, this is #103 of 175 offered for sale. There were also eight unsigned copies bound in cloth used for deposit in libraries. Margins of pastedowns have a pronounced but uniform bubbled pillow effect (looking almost by design), else a fine copy, with very little vellum ripple to the covers. Original green cloth-covered clamshell box has a bit of wear and light sunning to the spine and inner margins of sides, small corner chip to the paper label not affecting printing, VG otherwise. "This is the fourth of the Vine Books issued to subscribers from 'The Bookman's Journal' Office, London. Set by hand and printed in two colours on Kelmscott hand-made paper at The Moreland Press, and bound in full vellum September 1923". >>> Cagle A59. The trade edition, combined with ONE MORE DAY, was issued in 1924.
