Spine a bit darkened and damp stained, with yellowing and mild rubbing to the label; damp stain with red edge to inner margin of rear cover; small damp stain to lower inner margin of front cover; page edges yellowed; mostly erased ink inscription on front free endpaper; front cover a little bowed; else a VG clean and unworn copy.. Poetry, legends, and history. Author was a Judge in Trinidad and Tobago for 15 years. Includes an Introduction by Sir John Chancellor, Governor of Trinidad 1916 - 21. The Bocas are the Bocas del Dragón - the Dragon's Mouths - which are the narrow straits off Trinidad's northwest peninsula that connect the Gulf of Paria to the Caribbean Sea. Uncommon book.
