Edition: First Canadian issue

(Toronto): New American Library of Canada, 1968. Mass market paperback original. Damp stains to page edges, with scarcely noticable penetration into text margins, else a VG clean, tight and unworn copy. Weintraub was a Montreal author), Eric Bentley, Conor Cruise O'Brien, and many others. First publication, Aug., 1968, of this charming memoir of a magical time in his youth. It later appeared in SHOVELLING TROUBLE (1972) and two subsequent collections. Note: lighter parcel, any default postage rate may be reduced.
