This was Canadian scholar and frequent reviewer of French-Canadian literature W.E. Collin's copy. It has some light pencil notes and laid in is his catalogue card, as well as his pencil signature. An English translation was published in 1976, and this celebrated novel was the subject of an academic thesis and a published monograph.
