Spine a bit darkened, with gilt dull, short light streak, wear with cloth about 1 cm deep to head and foot of spine, small worn spot to front joint, ink private owner name at front, corner creases to the tissue guard, yellowing to page edges; generally VG clean and unworn otherwise, tight in the binding. >>> First US edition (a piracy) was this publisher, 1852 (though title page was dated 1853).
