Also contains on page 30 her 2/3 page review of CANADIAN SHORT STORIES, edited by Raymond Knister (Macmillan, 1928). She was also 4th sub-editor and advertising manager. Published for Christmas, 1928, by this women's college for a time located on the Trinity College campus of the University of Toronto. Very early in the career of this noted Canadian poet who twice won a Govenor-General's Award. She graduated from Trinity in 1931, the same year she joined the Communist Party while studying at the Sorbonne. Her first book, GREEN PITCHER, was published in the summer of 1928 when she was just 18, the present publication being issued when she had turned 19. Ricketts B22. Very scarce.
