Yellowing to page edges, spine lightly darkened, else a VG+. Hobart was born in Port Hawkesbury, Nova Scotia. He moved to Maryland where he worked as a reporter. He was the author or co-author of over 50 musical comedies, librettos and plays. He also specialized in German-American comic dialect writing ("Dutch Dialect").
