Toronto: Author, 1980. Broadside, oblong format, 28 x 42 cm. Printed in black and tan, litho'd photogravure in background of a crouching Afghan holding his AK rifle. Poem in two stanzas, 13 lines. Printed dated beneath his name October 1980. Initialed in the bottom margin in ink "M.A. 1981". Fine copy. A poem about the Afghan-Russian War, hand sold by the poet for a dollar each along Toronto's Spadina Avenue, near the Silver Dollar hotel, where he had a room. Acorn used to mutter that the Americans would inherit the Afghan-Russian oil war and be sent straight to hell for their efforts. Very scarce. ; Signed by Author
