Produced by Murray and Donald Davis Ltd, directed by Herbert Whittaker. The Crest, with its first season Jan.- June, 1954, was the first commercial theatre in Toronto to regularly stage Canadian plays. The Davis brothers asked Davies to give them something to launch their second season. Page  contains four paragraphs by Davies about the play, written for this playbill.
