THE COURSE OF IMPATIENCE CARNINGHAM
Edition: First Canadian issue
Toronto: Musson, no date (1911). Green cloth decorated in blind, lettered in white. pp (viii), 327. Spine has nicks at ends, with almost all the lettering flaked away; 1961 ink name at front; scattered tan soil spots in text; light damp stain to rear endpapers; tanning and mild foxing to page edges; else generally VG, unworn, tight in the binding. The first book, a novel, by the Hamilton writer and local historian who had a regular local history column in The Hamilton Spectator. The story involves a fur factory. Made from sheets of the British edition for which, oddly, I find no record in English libraries. Scarce book.
