Woodcuts printed by hand in colours on hand made Japanese paper by the artist, the poems on translucent leaves. Signed by the artist in the bottom margin of the title page, and in the inner corner "A/P". Fine copy, enclosed in a pink-coloured Japanese paper chemise with tie. Artist's proof of this Canadian fine press cycle of 47 lyrical love poems. The published version gives the publisher as Ayorama Publications, was limited to 50 copies signed by the poet and artist as well as XV copies hors commerce, and designated no. 3 in the Artist and Poet series. There was a trade paperback in 1993. A lovely production. Beissel is an internationally respected poet, playwright, essayist, professor, translator, and editor who emigrated to Canada from Germany in 1951.
