[6], 282 pp. Slight yellowing to page edges, light toning to text paper; a VG tight and unworn copy otherwise, no owner names. The dust jacket has a fingernail-size chip at foot of spine with loss of a couple letters, shallow chip across head of spine just touching the top of "Moon", vertical crease and light rubbing to spine; short tears to panels and flap folds, with chips to lower outer corner of front panel with loss of one letter of "Houston"; in all, good, but still presentable in appearance. A "romantic mystery" about stolen jewels and a mysterious veiled woman set in the French Quarter of New Orleans. The author was from Houston, Texas.; Octavo
