Slightly sunned spine has a horizontal ridge to lower spine; page edges and endpapers tanned, as usual; else a VG clean and tight unworn copy, no owner names, of Leacock's best book, a CanLit high spot. The "Little Town" of Mariposa was based on his hometown Orillia, Ontario. Made from sheets of the UK first printing, the only difference being that this Canadian issue bears the Bell & Cockburn spine imprint and drops the ads found at the rear of the UK edition (which is the true first by a few weeks).
