Page edges tanned, small Winnipeg private bookplate inside front cover, new price in Canada (3.50) in pencil on front free endpaper; else fine. The dust jacket (price-clipped by the Canadian distributor) has a small tear and small chips to front panel; lightly darkened spine has two horizontal splits, a long split to front spine fold, and a chip to lower corner (no printing loss); small chips and tears to rear panel; in all just good, but the front panel shows well. M&L A12b. 1900 sets of sheets were printed, of which an unknown number were bound in blue cloth for the Times Book Club. The limited edition (1930) preceded.
