  • DRAGONSINGER (unnoted variant) by McCaffrey, Anne
    McCaffrey, Anne
    DRAGONSINGER (unnoted variant)

    Edition: First printing

New York: Atheneum, 1977. Stated "First Edition". Tall narrow octavo, white pictorial cloth printed in colour, using the same art found on the dust jacket of the regular edition."A Guild Book" on spine. Fine copy, no owner names. No jacket (I suspect this issue had none). Not seen by Currey, who guesses it may have been issued for the Junior Literary Guild and who agrees with me that is probably an issue of the first printing, using the same sheets. The sequel to DRAGONSONG and the second novel in the Harper Hall trilogy. Rather scarce variant it would appear. The regular issue is also scarce.
