Ink name on verso of front free endpaper; bit of foxing to endpapers, first three leaves, and pages adjacent to some plates; corner crease to two leaves; yellowing to page edges; else a VG copy. First edition was in 1904 (312 pp). The author and his wife, from West Virginia, traveled to Dawson via the Canadian Pacific Railway and thence by steamboat from Victoria to Skagway and the upper Yukon in the summer of 1902, visiting mining camps and permanent settlements. Coming home they visited California, Arizona, and Colorado. Nice copy of an interesting and somewhat uncommon book.
