20.5 x 18 cm, typed on one side of onion skin paper, signed in typescript, 1978. Some creases, VG+ otherwise. To a Toronto Kerouac collector. 8 paragraphs. Speaks of Kerouac speaking French and having been noticed by Pierre Trudeau. Will sell him a copy of JACK'S BOOK when shipment arrives. Mardou's real name was not used. Speaks about other Kerouac related publications. Shooting for the film "Heartbeat" will start in Sepember, but he doesn't plan to watch it. John Montgomery (1919-1992) was a beat poet and friend of Kerouac. He appears in DESOLATION ANGELS as "Alex Fairbrother" and in THE DHARMA BUMS as Henry Morley.
