Light margin decoration on every page. Spine slightly darkened with gilt lettering dulled; nice private bookplate at front; front inner hinge and inner margin of leaf after title repaired with rice paper; yellowing to fore and bottom page edges; else a VG clean, tight and unworn jacketless copy, no owner names. Many leaves unopened at edges. A book about Jackson's classic American novel ROMONA (1884), a very popular work which showed the mistreatment of the native peoples of Southern California after the Civil War. Note: 1.5 kg parcel, extra postage may be required.

Staples rustly, with lower staple perished, making the text loose in the covers, central conjugate pair loose; softly creased to top margin throughout; occasional light text foxing; otherwise clean, unworn, VG.
