A doctor and his three children take in a distant cousin Jack, who has been brought up at a miners' camp in Canada, when Jack's father dies. First edition? First was [1918]. A volume in The Crown Library, the present title is the fifth from the last in the ads. I suspect this copy is a 1920s reprint. But it is in exceptionally nice condition.; Octavo

Quite an attractive copy of this novel about the Canadian bush around Rice Lake, Ontario, for young readers.
