William Armstrong; painter, engineer and inventor. Armstrong worked as an engineer and draughtsman during the buidling of the Canadian railway. His travels tooks him through the Great Lakes area, which he painted and published in the Canadian Illustrated News. His realistic representation of life on the Great Lakes made his work extremely popular. 2 kg parcel

Art by D. Farley. The second of two novels for adults, after three juveniles, by this major minor Canadian poet. Uncommon in any sort of jacket.
