    Toronto: Hunter-Rose, 1910. Original violet cloth gilt. pp (viii), 103 16 plates and numerous drawings in text, all by the author. Minor rubbing to spine tips, ink owner name at front, else a fine and tight, unfaded copy of this somewhat scarce and quite good book by a University of Toronto Professor of Mechanics. His ink drawings are quite accomplished. "This book is not strictly a record of scientific investigation; being based upon a collection of observations made by myself, during the past ten summers, on the habits of the small-mouthed bass." I believe the book was financed by the author and privately distributed.
