Presumed first US edition, ca 187-, of GIULIO MALATESTA (London, 1874). Like many of his novels, set in Italy, where he lived most of his life. Thomas Adolphus Trollope (1810-92), was the elder brother of Anthonly Trollope. He was prolific and was a good writer, unustly neglected today. The present edition is scarce.
