Light soiling to the white cloth spine and front cover; damp stain to lower inner corner of front cover and foot of spine; slight toning to text paper; else fine, no owner names. Laid in is a printed "with compliments" slip from the author. A "poem-play" in three scenes. Author was a theatrical manager for Wilson Barrett, Sir Henry Irving, and Sir Herbert Tree, and others.
