Corner crease to one leaf, very light spine sunning, else fine. Possibly the best novel to yet come out of the Vietnam War, a finalist for the National Book Award and the Pulitzer. The first published edition was the Franklin Mint edition. The regular edition was scheduled for Feb., 1990, publication so perhaps this proof was issued late in 1989. A very fine, beautiful, wrenching book in a scarce advance issue.
